His trait may provide Torture Immunity, which is always useful, but it leaves him prone to denial and his role is definitely not helped by being the slowest denier, with pretty average speed. Though he does boast some nice relic slots and a solid trait, it doesn't save him from a terrible and bland movepool.
Unfortunately, he's pretty bland outside denial, only able to remove and spread tortures, sometimes even to his allies. Atrox is a mediocre Magic denier who utilizes Stun for denial, usually in double stuns, increasing the chance of for it to land which is a pretty nice counter against the many Hardened and Tough monsters.
